Remembering Bill

On this special day of remembrance for Billʼs passing, I take comfort in remembering many of the good times we shared together, and the humorous things Bill did to put smiles on friends faces. I periodically go back to Billʼs Memorial page and re-read the comments. Each time I come back with something new about Bill I had previously overlooked, or recall one of those humorous moments we shared together.

On this day, and throughout the year, we will keep Bill, and your families in our thoughts and prayers.

He walks with us down quiet paths,
And speaks in wind and rain,
For the magic power of memory,
Gives him back to us again.

Always a smile, instead of a frown,
Always a hand, when one is down,
Always true, thoughtful and kind,
Wonderful memories he left behind.
